CELESTIAL SUMMER

From summer 2021 until early 2022 I joined author Lorraine Avila's graphic novel project, Celestial Summer. I worked with a small team to produce character designs, promotional animations, sketches and inked pages. Get your copy here.

'CELESTIAL SUMMER follows Layleen and Keith during a psychedelic trip on the eve of July 4th, 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, and a war on Black bodies. Thes lovers grant each other permission to take off their masks and love up on each other in a Harlem apartment. CELESTIAL SUMMER is an intimate exploration of love, intimacy, sexual healing, and vulnerability in a world where deceiving others and building walls to keep people out is the norm.'
